CicloSDias in City Heights: A Day of Community and Car-Free Fun
Residents, families, and local businesses filled University Avenue for CicloSDias, a celebration of car-free streets, transforming over a mile of our busy corridor into an open street, welcoming everyone to walk, bike, skate, and explore our community.

Two hundred volunteers joined us to beautify University Avenue in City Heights. In partnership with the City Heights Business Improvement District and Maintenance Assessment District, Beautify the Block revitalized one of our neighborhood’s busiest corridors.
City Heights' Street Food Fest: A Celebration of Food, Art and Community
With the debut of the Street Food Fest Passport and entertainment by Bodhi Tree Concerts, this year’s festival celebrated the neighborhood’s food and art culture. Street Food Fest returns Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The BLVD to Beach Community Bike Ride was held this past April 8th! Nearly 60 Community members enjoyed a coastal bike ride on a beautiful Sunday morning!
Community members met at Pepper Park in National City and rode all the way to Silver Strand State Beach.
