Bike Racks, Bus Routes, & Free Car Parking—Here's How To Get To Street Food Fest!

Street Food Fest is Friday, June 9th, at Tierra Central (4090 University Ave) from 5-9pm. Here are a few great ways to get there…

Situated at the corner of University Ave and the 15 freeway, the Tierra Central event space is a one minute walk from the City Heights Transit Plaza. When coming from downtown San Diego, take the North-bound Rapid 235 Bus route. The transit plaza can also be reached via bus routes 7 and 10.

Another great way to get to the Street Food Fest is cycling! Community Lead projects advocated for by our staff like the Landis St Bikeway  provide safe bike infrastructure to ride your bike to this great event. In partnership with Staytrue Cycle Works, we will provide free bicycle parking to those who chose to ride their bike to the Street Food Fest.

Limited parking will be available in the ‘I Love City Heights’ mural lot at 4132 University Avenue and at 4112 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92105 (just east of the event site) or on nearby streets will be available though spots will fill up quickly, so make sure to arrive early or plan to park and walk a block or two, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
