City Heights CDC earns 3 Awards in the 2023 San Diego Chapter of the American Planning Association Awards

The San Diego Chapter of the American Planning Association (SDAPA) held its yearly awards ceremony this past June at UCSD Park and Market. In these awards, the SDAPA brings together the San Diego planning community to celebrate planning projects that have made a difference in people’s lives.

We are delighted to share that through its work the City Heights CDC Transportation & Planning team was able to bring 3 SDAPA awards to City Heights!

Below are the campaigns and award categories that were awarded:

1. 2023 Transportation Planning Merit Award – Hoover Safety Improvements

2. Grassroots Initiative Excellence Award -Silver Strand For All

3. Hard Won Victories Excellence Award -Youth Opportunity Pass
