MTS Social Equity Listening Tour: The Return of Transit & Tacos

After nearly three years, August 4th will see the return of an in-person Transit & Tacos! This award-winning engagement series will allow for City Heights residents to shape our transit system all while enjoying free tacos!  

The return of the Transit & Tacos on August 4th will focus on the MTS Social Equity Listening Tour. This is a project that City Heights Community Development Corporation is working on with Pueblo Planning, MTS, and other Community Based Organizations. Environmental Health Coalition, Mid-City CAN, and City Heights CDC are working together to promote the August 4th event. Together we are seeking to engage Transit Riders and the overall community to receive feedback on the current transit services offered by MTS. 

What will be done with the feedback received? The feedback received during this Transit & Tacos will be taken to MTS and directly influence how they spend $3 million in transit enhancements. 

This Transit & Tacos event will take place Thursday, August 4th, 2022 from 5:00PM to 6:30 PM at Tierra Central ( 4058 University Avenue, San Diego, CA 92105)
