Hollywood Palms Community Activation Day Brings Residents Together
Over four hours, forty volunteers cleaned and upgraded three key areas across the property, including the community garden and outdoor play area, which now feature new soccer goal posts and a sandbag toss game. Teams also cleared litter throughout the property and along the nearby trail.
While volunteers worked outdoors, our Resident Services team distributed more than three thousand pounds of food to over one hundred fifty residents across our affordable housing communities. Thank you to our partners at Feeding San Diego and the San Diego Food Bank for their continued support with providing fresh produce and dry goods to our families in City Heights.
Thank you to the residents, volunteers, and partners who joined us to help strengthen City Heights and its affordable housing communities. Every improvement makes our neighborhoods more welcoming, where kids can learn and play and where residents and seniors can connect and find essential services close to home.
