We Stand w/ Immigrant Street Vendors! See a Statement From the Mexican Consulate

 

We are still shocked at the treatment of Mr. Andrés Argüelles Álvarez and many street food vendors working to make a living and share their food and culture in our communities, and we’re thrilled to announce Mr. Argüelles Álvarez has been accepted into the next training cohort of the San Diego Food Justice Project!

We’ve worked with our friends at the Logan Heights CDC to state our ongoing commitment to support vendors like these, and we’re excited to also share the following statement from the Mexican Consulate:
