Born in Sierra Leone, West Africa, Maseray ran a thriving small goods trading business from her home before being displaced and starting her life in City Heights.

Local food businesses set up their food trucks and booths offering cuisines like Thai, Mexican, Jamaican, Vietnamese, Somali, Japanese, and from many other cultures!

Someone chose to care for Ms. Ringo when she needed it most, and now she does the same.

This is Rickie, our Property Manager at Hollywood Palms apartments. Rickie oversees 94 units occupied by about 560 people.

“I just realized I like working directly with people,” she recalled. “I didn’t like feeling removed from them.”
