MTS Social Equity Listening Tour: Second City Heights Listening Session

August 4th saw the return of Transit & Tacos! This award-winning engagement series saw its return align with the City Heights Listening Session for the MTS Social Equity Listening Tour.

This is an engagement project that City Heights CDC has worked on with Pueblo Planning. The objective of this project is to listen to community feedback on current MTS services and identify transit improvements. The priorities identified will influence how MTS moves forward with $3 million dollars of transit investments.

We are happy to share that during our August 4th City Heights Listening Session we had over 90 community members participate! This was a beautiful, multi-generational event where City Heights residents envisioned their ideal transit experience all while enjoying delicious tacos!

This Thursday the City Heights Built Environment TEAM (BET) - a City Heights resident group that seeks to make walking, bicycling, driving, and transit commuting safer and more convenient in City Heights - will host the second City Heights Listening Session for the MTS Social Equity Listening Tour.

The second session will be a follow-up to the first. Here, City Heights CDC and Pueblo Planning would love to hear additional community feedback and verify that the feedback received on the first session was received correctly.

The Second City Heights Listening Session will be held virtually via Zoom and take place Thursday August 18th, 2022 from 5:00PM to 6:30PM. The first 40 participants who RSVP and participate throughout the session will have a $25 gift card mailed to compensate for their time and valuable input.

To RSVP, please email jramirez@cityheightscdc.org

Hope to see you there!
