Credit.org Homeownership Workshops in City Heights
Over the course of a year, our Resident Services team partnered with Credit.org to host a workshop series designed to support Hollywood Palms residents on their path to homeownership.
We believe caring for the whole person — and the whole family — goes beyond providing housing. At Hollywood Palms, our Resident Services team walks alongside residents, offering wraparound support that reflects their goals and realities. Over the course of 12 months, we coordinated hands-on workshops focused on accessible credit counseling, debt management planning, and practical financial education. Residents gained clear next steps, built confidence, and began making measurable progress toward owning a home.
For many families, the dream is not just stable housing, but a permanent home they can call their own. That journey often includes strengthening credit, reducing debt, securing stronger employment, or pursuing higher education. Our role is to help create those pathways and remove barriers along the way.
