Workforce Training
Creating opportunity and helping people build stability through meaningful work.
Career & Technical Education Programs
At City Heights CDC, we help create pathways to economic opportunity for San Diego residents through workforce development and career training. Through CAREERworks, our workforce training initiative, we help residents launch and advance careers in information technology (IT) and cybersecurity by providing access to industry-recognized CompTIA certifications, hands-on training, and career support.
Training is fully funded through a workforce development grant from the U.S. Department of Labor, making it possible for participants to gain valuable skills and credentials at no cost.
