City Heights Opportunity Program Pursuing Entrepreneurial Development (CHOPPED)
Dedicated to empowering food entrepreneurs in San Diego.
The City Heights Opportunity Program Pursuing Entrepreneurial Development (CHOPPED) empowers food entrepreneurs across San Diego by providing hands-on training, essential resources and permitting support.
Today, CHOPPED serves a growing network of more than 100 local entrepreneurs, including Micro-Enterprise Home Kitchen Operations (MEKHOs), sidewalk and pop-up vendors, caterers, and immigrant-owned restaurants. With the support of our partners and donors, we create a clear and accessible pathway for entrepreneurs to legalize and grow their food businesses, unlocking opportunity for San DieganS and helping build a more inclusive local economy.
