Buffered bike lanes and traffic safety improvements are being installed on University Ave! The City of San Diego has begun the process of installing a safety conversion on University Avenue between Fairmount Ave and Euclid Ave that will convert one travel lane into two buffered bike lanes which will create safer pedestrian crossings and safer speeds for all. Permanent concrete roundabouts will be the next phase of investment to enhance safety while also improving travel times. We applaud the City for installing these transformative improvements which were shaped by the University Ave Traffic Safety Working Group. We look forward to their full installation shortly. #TransportationJustice #VisionZero ... See MoreSee Less
