As we finish the final week of our summer program our Readers in the Heights enjoyed an afternoon of book shopping📕📙📘📗
Thanks to United Way of San Diego County each student took home 10 books to add to or start their own library at home and continue their love of reading. We are grateful and proud of the success of this program and celebrate and thank all of the partners within the City Heights Partnership for Children and the amazing volunteers 🚀📘 that helped make this happen.

Today our Readers in the Heights enjoyed their last day of San Diego County Office of Education's Everyone a Reader program. As a special treat volunteers from San Diego Police Department Mid City Division came in to ready with our students. We also were very lucky to have Barnes & Noble come by to give each student a brand new book of their choice as a reward for completing their reading logs. 🚀📙
