Neighborhood Enhancement Program

The Neighborhood Enhancement Program's goal is to work with City Heights' volunteers to create a healthier community by providing foreclosure prevention and addressing infrastructure needs such as sidewalk repair, street lighting and curbs. The program will offer referrals to housing counseling agencies for default and foreclosure prevention services; education of residents regarding code compliance and prevention of blight, maintenance assistance and other services will be provided. Staff will facilitate the engagement of community volunteers and youth to actively assist property owners with yard, street and alley cleanups, fence repairs, graffiti removal, landscaping, murals, security cameras, artwork, sidewalk repair, street lighting and curb repair.
