International Village Celebration - Fast Facts

With a history of 14 years celebrating the diversity and cultures of City Heights, the International Village Celebration continues to grow year by year, becoming a staple festival of all San Diego summer activities.

Attendance

More than 75,000 visitors are expected to attend this year's festival. This year the festival has partnered with more than 18 media sponsors to help spread the word. The festival has gained radio, TV and print spots to advertise the event throughout San Diego County and increase exposure for the event.

Activities

The major difference between the International Village Celebration and other festivals in San Diego is that this festival incorporates entertainment and community outreach to educate and entertain visitors on City Heights' unique diversity.

Health Fair:



Features health screenings and access to services in one of San Diego's most underserved communities.

Children's Fun Zone



Geared for children of all ages will feature animal and carnival rides, clowns, face painting, arts and crafts, slides, jumps, rock climbing, and a TaeKwondo demonstration.

Career Zone



Features more than 25 employers showcasing career opportunities, advice and career placement.
